Q: How is it activated/deactivated?

A: RightsLink is a link target, and is activated through either the Links@Ovid or Ovid LinkSolver Admin Tool by checking the RightsLink checkbox in the Reprints/Rights link set. Deactivate it by de-selecting the RightsLink checkbox.

Once enabled in Ovid, when a user searches an Ovid database, a Reprints/Rights link will appear for relevant journals. The link goes to the RightsLink service where the user can identify the requested ‘use permissions’ and order reprints.

Q: What is the scope of coverage?

A: Journal Titles: The initial implementation covers most LWW titles. A full list of supported journals appears below.

Article Content: Currently, reprints may be granted for graphic images and tables found within the article. At a future date, reprint rights will be extended to the full article.
